I recently went to a show featuring Major Lazer(Diplo+Switch), A-trak, and Drop the Lime. I must say the visuals were the star of the show. These are a few pics of the stage concept in action. Dopeness.

Checkout the latest image in my ongoing struggle with this painting…
What is more poetic than this? I was walking one rainy day through Center City Philadelphia and was frozen by this beautiful and destructive creature. I’ve always been captivated by oil and water stains in the streets and gutters and science that causes these prismatic displays to appear. These, as much as I love to stare at, I would also like to see less of.

I just put up a few pieces at Skinner’s here in Philly. Here’s a series of pieces (and a detail pic) of some works I completed specifically for the show.
Here’s another oldie but goodie…enjoy.

This is a detail of a piece I completed a while ago(like maybe a few years..?) and someone just bought it. Its bittersweet to see em go, but they gotta go!

Listen to this…

I copped Skipper, Architecture and Design in the $1 bin at AKA in Philly. I would say it’s been well worth the expense. With songs about love loss, passing time, philosophy (and yes, architecture and design), it’s a lush, rhythmic, genre defying set of songs that remind me of styles originated by cats like Beck and perfected by Caribou and Gnarles Barkley. Beats and ideas flow freely when I press play. If you see it, snatch it.
